Arsenal made it eleven wins out of eleven with their 1-0 win against Sporting Lisbon in Portugal on Thursday. Danny Welbeck’s 78th-minute strike means they are top of their Europa League group with nine points from their first three games.
Crystal Palace are certainly in a far less confident mood. Two late goals for Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday condemned them to their third straight league defeat.
The Gunners will be hoping to have both Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac back for the game. Stephen Lichtsteiner had to play in an unfamiliar role on the left flank on Monday night against Leicester with both left-backs sidelined.
While Monreal was taken out of the firing line due to a tight hamstring, Kolasinac was suffering from a slight knock. With neither risked to play on Thursday, Granit Xhaka was selected at left-back against Sporting with Lichtsteiner playing on the right-hand side.
Petr Cech (hamstring) and Ainley Maitland-Niles (fractured fibula) are back in full training, while Laurent Koscielny is stepping up his recovery from an Achilles injury. Konstantinos Mavropanos is still out with a groin problem.
For Palace, they could welcome back striker Alexander Sorloth who missed the defeat to Everton with a virus. Christian Benteke is out until the New Year after having knee surgery.
Connor Wickham (knee) and Scott Dann (knee) are long-term injury absentees, but both are stepping up their recoveries and could return before the end of December.
Arsenal’s Predicted XI to face Crystal Palace:

Bellerin, Mustafi, Sokratis, Monreal
Torreira, Xhaka
Iwobi, Ozil, Aubameyang
Lacazette
Predicted Score – Arsenal to win 2-1
