Arsenal V Bournemouth: Team News And Betting Odds

Arsenal’s form has been pretty erratic of late, but a draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford followed by a 4-0 win over Standard Liege has eased the pressure somewhat on manager Unai Emery.

The Gunners face a Bournemouth side on Sunday who have picked up seven points from their last three league fixtures. Eddie Howe’s team have won twice on the road already this campaign and will likely prove a stern test at the Emirates.

Arsenal have very few injury concerns, with Alexandre Lacazette (ankle) and Emile Smith Rowe (knock) the only players that will be missing for the game this weekend.

The likes of Hector Bellerin, Kieran Tierney and Rob Holding all got another 90 minutes under their belt against Standard and it’s now down to Emery to decide if one or more are ready to start a league game.

Bournemouth have a number of injury problems with the Cherries without David Brooks (ankle), Dan Gosling (hip), Charlie Daniels and Junior Stanislas (both knee). Adam Smith is a major doubt with a hamstring problem but Ryan Fraser is set to return after illness.

The bookmakers have Arsenal as the favourites with Coral pricing them at 1/2 to get the win. A draw is 4/1 with Betfred while a victory for Bournemouth is 6/1 at Paddy Power.
