Martin Zubimendi – 8/10

The Spaniard would have been given a 9 or even a 10 based on his early-season performances for Mikel Arteta’s side.

However, it is fair to say that Zubimendi’s form has dropped off, and many have blamed the intense fixture schedule. He has looked shattered in recent matches.

Viktor Gyokeres – 7/10

The striker has now scored 21 goals in all competitions, so there is no doubt that he has been a successful signing.

However, Gyokeres is by no means easy on the eye, and there is already talk that sporting director Andrea Berta is looking for an upgrade, with interest being shown once more in Julian Alvarez.
