Arsenal have made an “enquiry” for Bologna centre-half Riccardo Calafiori, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Romano said that the Gunners have not entered talks to sign the Italian international but they have requested information about the player.

Calafiori has attracted attention with his performances for Bologna and Italy over the last twelve months and there are plenty of reasons why manager Mikel Arteta would be keen on recruiting him.
