OPINION: Arsenal Should Pull Noni Madueke Trick Again And Sign Talented Chelsea Star

Arsenal signed Noni Madueke from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, and it has proven to be a great piece of business.

Everything is going well for Mikel Arteta at the moment, his Arsenal side are top of the Premier League after they won 2-0 against West Ham over the weekend. During the international break, several pundits have said that Arsenal are the favourites to win the Premier League.

The Gunners’ success so far this season has largely been down to how well they recruited in the summer transfer window, with new signings Martin Zubimendi, Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke all looking excellent in the early part of the season.

The latter controversially joined from Chelsea, a move which received a lot of criticism as the Gunners paid £52m to bring Madueke to the Emirates. However, when Bukayo Saka got injured earlier in the season, Madueke replaced him, and was simply superb in Arteta’s attack. He is now injured himself, but Arsenal fans are all in agreement that he was an excellent signing in the summer.

Arsenal should sign Tyrique George in Madueke-like transfer move

Following the success of the Madueke signing, Arsenal could pull the same trick on Chelsea again, as winger Tyrique George is reportedly going to be available in the January transfer window.

According to Football Insider, Chelsea views George as surplus to requirements, and are willing to sell the 19-year-old, despite his impressive performances when Enzo Maresca gives him a chance in the first team.

Arsenal should sign the 19-year-old, who is very impressive on the ball, and has an electric burst of pace, as many believe he could become a top class Premier League winger in the future. Seeing as the Gunners have a lot of depth, they could sign George and then loan him out, as there is reported interest in him from Fulham and Crystal Palace.

He could then develop out on loan, come back to the Emirates and become a future replacement for someone like Leandro Trossard, who will only have one year left on his contract in June, and has been tipped for a transfer move away in the next couple of windows.
