Arsenal, Man United and Liverpool In Transfer Race For £50M-Rated England International

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Nottingham Forest attacker Morgan Gibbs-White in the summer transfer window.

The Gunners are set to make a splash in the summer window as they are reportedly looking to sign a striker, winger and centre-midfielder.

Their summer recruitment will be crucial in their pursuit of a Premier League title, and much of it will be down to newly-appointed Sporting Director Andrea Berta.

Arsenal are 15 points behind league leaders Liverpool, and their hopes of a trophy this year rests on the Champions League. They beat PSV in the round of 16, and now face a quarter-final against Real Madrid.

However, looking ahead to the summer, Arsenal reportedly keen on an England international who has been valued at around £50 million.

Arsenal want Gibbs-White

Arsenal have been linked to Nottingham Forest attacker Morgan Gibbs-White in recent days after he has impressed at the City Ground this season.

The former Wolves man made his debut for the England national team this season and has scored five goals for Forest in 24 Premier League appearances. He has also contributed six assists.

According to a fresh report by Caught Offside, Arsenal are amongst a group of several Premier League clubs that are keen to sign the 25-year-old. Man United, Liverpool and Tottenham are also said to be keen.

The report says that Forest don’t want to sell Gibbs-White, and have begun talks with him for a new contract. It is understood that an offer of around £50 million, could be enough to tempt the Midlands club to sell the attacker.

Gibbs-White can play in several positions, both as a winger and a central midfielder, his versatility could come in very useful for Mikel Arteta.

The Gunners are looking to sign a winger in the summer

Gibbs-White isn’t the only winger that Arsenal have been linked to this season, as they aim to add depth at the position for next season.

They have been touted to sign Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams, who has a £48 million release clause. He has made 23 appearances for the La Liga side this season, scoring four goals and five assists.

The Gunners have also been linked with signing Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane, who is due to become a free agent in the summer window, assuming his deal doesn’t get extended at Bayern.

Sane previously worked under Arteta at Manchester City when he was Pep Guardiola’s assist at the Etihad.
