Arsenal have “reignited their interest” in West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus, according to reports.
Radio station talkSPORT claim that the Gunners have added the Ghanaian international to their list of summer transfer targets.
West Ham are willing to sell Kudus and he does have an £85m release clause in his contract but Mikel Arteta’s side are unlikely to pay that amount if they do enter negotiations to sign him over the coming weeks. There has been a mixed response to the news among fans on X:
Would ball at Arsenal for sure!

This would be the second worst of all decisions Arsenal would have done in the history of football.

Kudus has not had a great season for West Ham
It’s been a difficult campaign for the 24-year-old up until this point. He has only scored 4 goals and provided 3 assists in all competitions.
While it should be pointed out that Kudus is playing in a struggling team, there is no getting away from the fact that he has regressed since catching the eye during his first 12 months in English football.
Arsenal are looking at other wingers
Kudus is by no means the only wide player that is under consideration. The Gunners are believed to have held talks with the representatives of Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams over the past month or so. Arteta is a big admirer of the Spanish international.
Another target who has come onto the radar more recently is Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens. Arsenal have been tipped to compete with the likes of Chelsea for the 20-year-old’s signature.
