Brighton are struggling to agree personal terms with Ajax attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus, according to Voetbal International.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in the Ghanaian but the Seagulls are the only team who have agreed a fee for the player.
Supporters on X are hoping that Kudus is delaying a move to the Amex so that the Gunners can make a last-ditch bid to secure his services:

Arteta is a fan of Kudus
It was reported last week that manager Mikel Arteta would prefer a move to sign the 22-year-old if Arsenal delve back into the market for another midfielder this summer.
Other options, including Southampton’s Romeo Lavia, have been considered but it is believed that Arteta has a specific plan in mind for Kudus with regards to how he would deploy him.
Arsenal are currently focused on signing a keeper
At the time of writing, the Gunners have not agreed a fee with Brentford for goalkeeper David Raya but a deal could be wrapped up as early as this week.
Whether sporting director Edu will then move on to signing someone like Kudus, it isn’t known. The club have spent a significant amount of money this transfer window and they may need to recoup some from sales first before spending another £35m on the Ajax star.
