Arsenal are one of two clubs who have made “late moves” to sign West Ham teenager Kyran Thompson, according to The Secret Scout.
The insider, who is very reliable when it comes to academy transfers, says that the Gunners and Newcastle have made last-minute proposals to the 15-year-old, who looked set to join Tottenham:

Thompson is currently part of the Hammers’ academy setup and he is a forward but, other than that, not much is known about him.
However, the interest being shown in the youngster suggests that he could be one to look out for in the future.
Arsenal have already signed one player for their academy this summer
The Gunners secured the signature of highly-rated young goalkeeper Tommy Setford last week. The England youth international joined from Ajax for €1m (£840,000).
It’s a substantial fee for a player who has yet to make his senior debut, and fans will be keeping close tabs on his progress as he makes appearances for the Under 21s over the coming months.

It is believed that Emile Smith Rowe is closing in on a move to Fulham, with the Cottagers expected to pay a fee in the region of £35m for the 23-year-old.
Smith Rowe has been with Arsenal for 14 years and, while manager Mikel Arteta is reluctant to lose someone he rates very highly, the player feels he needs to move clubs in order to get the game time he needs.
Despite being available for most of last season, Smith Rowe was only given three starts by Arteta in the Premier League.
