Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has reportedly said that he wants to leave before transfer deadline day and Arsenal is a potential destination.
The Gunners had previously shown interest in Coman who wants to leave Bayern due to his lack of consistent game time at the Allianz Arena.
Previous reports suggested a loan move would be likely for the 28-year-old who according to L’Equipe, wants a quick move away from Bayern in the next four days.
Arsenal could make a quick move for the winger who would help add depth to a front line that has top talents such a Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Martinelli.
However, there has been interest from other clubs for Coman both abroad and in the Premier League.
Arsenal face competition for Coman’s signature
The Gunners aren’t the only Premier League side that is keen on signing the Frenchman as both Manchester City and Liverpool have been touted as possible destinations too.
Furthermore, Coman had previously said that his former club PSG would be his preferred destination with German football journalist Florian Plettenberg taking to X to announce the news earlier in August.

Kingsley Coman’s hefty wage demands
It may be the case that no move has happened for the winger yet to due to his current wage bill which sits at £16m a year at the Allianz.
Hence why a loan move would be more likely as the two clubs could split his wage bill to make it affordable and beneficial to both Bayern and Coman’s destination club.
Despite the interest, the transfer deadline day is only four days away, so any team keen to sign Coman may have to act fast to secure his services.
