Arsenal are in “ongoing” talks with the representatives of Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman, according to Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.
The journalist claims that the Gunners are facing competition from Saudi Pro League clubs but they have “expressed their interest” in signing him at the end of the season.
Considering Coman’s age and poor injury record, the majority of fans on X are very much against signing him this summer:

We don’t want him. He isn’t who he used to be. He’s Saudi material now.

Coman would be a cheaper alternative to Williams
Bayern are willing to sell the France international and there are suggestions he could be let go for around £30m.
Coman appears to be under consideration if Arsenal decide against triggering Nico Williams‘ release clause. The buyout fee is €58m (£50m) and Mikel Arteta’s side would have to pay it up front.
Arsenal are not the only team interested in the forward
Other Premier League clubs have also been credited with an interest in Coman. Bild reporter Christian Falk revealed at the weekend that Liverpool have also explored a move for the player.
The Reds’ pursuit may well depend on what happens to Luis Diaz. The Colombian looks set to leave Anfield this summer, with talks over a new contract having stalled.
Coman is also said to be tempted by the riches on offer in the Middle East so a transfer to Saudi Arabia cannot be ruled out either.
