Arsenal And Tottenham See Moves For “Untouchable” £35m Midfielder Rejected Amid Transfer Blow

Arsenal and Tottenham have reportedly seen transfer moves for a Juventus star rejected in recent weeks.

The Gunners return to action this weekend in the Premier League with a tricky trip to Craven Cottage to play against Fulham. Mikel Arteta will hope to extend their lead at the top of the league with a win against Marco Silva, side, putting pressure on Liverpool, who play against Man United on Sunday.

Arsenal will also be considering the January transfer window in the title race, as they will have the chance to add any more players who could help them win the league ahead of the second half of the season.

They have been strongly linked to signing Juventus star Kenan Yildiz, but the Turkish attacker looks set to sign a new contract with the Italian club. However, fresh reports are now suggesting that Arsenal could sign one of Yildiz’s teammates at Juventus instead.

Arsenal and Spurs see rejected moves for Thuram

Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram is developing a reputation for himself in the Serie A, becoming one of the most reliable, and impressive holding midfielders in the last couple of years.

Thuram has made six Serie A appearances for the Old Lady this season, scoring one goal, and providing one assist. According to a report by TBR Journalist Graeme Bailey, Arsenal and Tottenham are both keen to sign the 24-year-old, who has an estimated market value of £35m.

However, Bailey said recently that both North London clubs have seen advanced rejected by Juventus for the 24-year-old. He said: “Thuram is one of those players that Premier League clubs had the chance to land before Juve took him from Nice.

“Juve took that chance and have been rewarded, Thuram’s form since arriving in Italy has been spectacular – he was not even in the France squad, let alone pushing for a starting spot, he has really kicked on.

“Now, along with Yildiz, Comolli believes he has something special, and he is getting calls – we know that, but they have no interest in letting either of these two go, they are both deemed as ‘untouchable’ by Juve at this point.”
