Arsenal have activated the release clause in the contract of Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Writing on his X account, Romano said that the Gunners will pay £5m to bring the Spanish international to the Emirates:

Kepa will be the 2nd Spaniard to make the switch to Arsenal this summer
As Romano mentions, Kepa will follow Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi in through the door at the London Colney training centre.
While neither transfer has been officially announced by the club yet, it appears that the official documents have been signed.
Zubimendi is expected to be unveiled at the beginning of July. This is to comply with the wishes of Real Sociedad who want the sale to be included in the next accounting year.
What is the club’s next move in the transfer market?
The Gunners are still in negotiations for both RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres, with sporting director Andrea Berta said to be keen on working on the two deals concurrently to ensure they get at least one striker secured this summer.
Neither forward will be made available on the cheap. Depending on what you read, reports suggest that Sesko’s asking price is between €80m (£68m) and €100m (£85m).
Gyokeres was expected to be sold for a lower amount than Sesko, but it now looks like Sporting want at least €80m (£68m) for the Swedish international.
In other news, fans have been debating whether Arsenal should pay £50m to sign a winger from Chelsea
