Arsenal could opt to go after Man United winger Jadon Sancho, who Chelsea decided against signing permanently.
Sancho had a decent spell with the Blues, but they opted against paying the £25m obligation to buy him due to the wage bill on his current contract at Man United.
He will now return to Old Trafford, where he would be expected to be sold this summer, and Arsenal could swoop in and make a move.
The Gunners are in need of wingers this summer and have been linked to several including Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao, Rodrygo from Real Madrid and Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.
However, with Mbeumo likely to join Man United, and Rodrygo and Williams set to cost at least £50m, they could instead decide to go after Sancho.
Arsenal should sign Sancho
Firstly, Jadon Sancho has plenty of Premier League experience, he also saw a return to form for Chelsea this season, which shows that he can still develop into a world class winger.
Sancho made 31 Premier League appearances for the Blues this season, battling with the likes of Noni Madueke, Pedro Neto and Cole Palmer for game time. He scored three goals and provided four assists in the league.
The Gunners need more players who can play both on the left and the right, in order to ease some of the pressure on the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, both of which suffered injuries this season.
They could turn to Man United and offer £25m for Sancho, to take him off their hands, something that United want to do as they aim to rebuild their squad this summer. He would be a much cheaper, and more experienced option compared to the likes of Rodrygo and Williams.
