Combined non-penalty xG and xA

When you sign an attacking midfielder, he has to be a constant threat in the final third of the pitch.

To measure this, we will be assessing both players’ non-penalty expected goals (xG) and expected assists (xA) during the 2024/25 campaign.

On this metric, Eze comes out on top, averaging 0.53 non-penalty xG and xA per 90 minutes to Simons’ 0.48.
