Arsenal Make Last Minute Enquiry To Sign £67M-Rated Striker Linked To Manchester United

Arsenal have reportedly made a last-minute enquiry to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.

The Gunners have been keen to sign a striker this month as they aim to keep pace with Liverpool in the Premier League. They have been linked to Vlahovic heavily this month, and now look to be considering a late move for him.

The Serbian has fallen out of favour at Juventus, and now that the Serie A side have signed Randal Kolo Muani, it leaves Vlahovic available for a late transfer before the 11 pm deadline on Monday.

However, a new report by The Boot Room suggests that both Arsenal and Manchester United have made an enquiry to Juventus regarding the availability of Vlahovic on deadline day.

The report says that the striker’s contract talks in Turin have stalled, meaning that his situation will likely be resolved with a sale in 2025.

Vlahovic has shown to be a proven goal scorer this season, netting eight goals in 19 Serie A games for Juventus. His price is expected to be around the £65m-£70m mark, so the question would be if Arsenal are prepared to offer that much.

If they aren’t, a loan deal for Vlahovic could be on the cards with a future buy option, should be impress at the Emirates if a loan was to happen.

Arsenal miss out on Bayern striker

The Gunners had been linked with Mathys Tel, who looks set to leave Bayern Munich today in what could be one of the stories of deadline day.

The Frenchman had been involved in a £50m agreement between Bayern and Tottenham, but decided to reject the deal over the weekend. However, in a deadline day U-turn he now looks to be signing for Spurs.

It means that if Arsenal were wanting to make a move to Tel, they have left it too late with it now looking virtually impossible for them to swoop in and sign him.
