Arsenal make no changes to the back four

There is a good chance that the Gunners will sign a new defender before the transfer window closes as they look to mitigate the loss of William Saliba.
Aston Villa’s Ezri Konsa has been widely tipped to make the switch to the Emirates, but the England international won’t be available on the cheap, with reports suggesting that his asking price could be as high as £60m.
The Gunners may opt for a stop-gap solution – a loan or a low-cost permanent deal – especially if they do (as expected) invest heavily further up the pitch.
Once Saliba (and Jurrien Timber) are back to full fitness, both are expected to continue as part of a formidable back four from which Arteta has built the foundation of the club’s success.
