“Best Value”, “Get In”: Arsenal Fans React To Fabrizio Romano “Here We Go” For La Liga Star

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Arsenal have agreed a deal with Valencia to sign centre-back Cristhian Mosquera.

Arsenal’s transfer window has finally begun to gather some pace, after they started with a marquee signing of Martin Zubmendi in midfield, they have also added Christian Norgaard, and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Furthermore, they now look to have agreed a deal to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP, meaning that their striker woes of the past two years may finally be over.

On top of that, the Gunners have also added one of their main targets of the summer in the form of Valencia centre-back Cristhian Mosquera, who can help to backup Gabriel and William Saliba. Fabrizio Romano confirmed on X that Arsenal have signed him with a “here we go” post, and Gunners fans have been reacting with their opinions on the move…

How will Mosquera fit into Arteta’s Arsenal squad

The first thing to say regarding the 21-year-old is that he won’t be starting each and every week, due to the fact that Arteta already has his starting centre-backs in Saliba and Gabriel. However, last year we saw an injury to Gabriel, and the Gunners had a distinct lack of options to replace him.

Mosquera not only adds depth, but he is also a better replacement than the likes of Jakub Kiwior and Ben White, and much younger too. His potential is good enough so that we could see him starting every game for Arsenal in a couple of years’ time.

He is a dynamic centre-back, who is quick, and comfortable on the ball, much like Saliba. Plus, Mosquera can also play right-back, meaning that Arteta is getting a quick, promising and versatile defender for under €20m. It is a very savvy piece of business from the Gunners.
