Arsenal have reportedly identified Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo as one of their priority transfer targets for the summer.
Mbeumo is having the best season of his career at Brentford, as he’s scored 13 goals and contributed three assists for the Bees in 20 Premier League appearances this season.
He is the joint-third top scorer in the division alongside Chelsea star Cole Palmer and Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak.
The Cameroon international in under contract at the Gtech Community Stadium until June 2026, so Brentford could be open to selling him in the summer in order to ensure a profit.
According to Sky Sports Germany Journalist Florian Plettenberg, he has been identified as a key target for Mikel Arteta this summer.
He said on X: “Understand that Bryan Mbeumo is on Arsenal’s shortlist for a potential summer transfer. The Gunners are looking to strengthen their wing position.”

Arsenal face competition from Liverpool for Mbeumo
The Gunners aren’t the only Premier League side that reportedly want to sign the winger from Brentford, as Liverpool have also been linked.
The Reds view the Cameroon international as a possible replacement for Mohammed Salah, who is still yet to sign an extended contract at Anfield.
Both clubs have also been linked with West Ham winger Mohammed Kudus, and it is understood that Liverpool and Arsenal will aim to sign a new winger during the summer window.
The Gunners are keen to add a wide player due to the injury struggles that Bukayo Saka has had this season and previously. Arteta won’t want to be too reliant on his star winger, and will need some more cover for him.
