Arsenal transfer target Benjamin Sesko has a €50m (£43m) buyout fee in his contract, according to Sky Germany reporter Philippe Hinze.
However, the journalist says that the RB Leipzig striker’s clause can only be activated at the end of the season, rather than during the January transfer window.
While some believe the Gunners should focus on other options, many fans on X believe that Sesko would be a good addition to Mikel Arteta’s squad:

Sesko is a player with massive potential
The Slovenian international is still only 20 years of age and, despite not being a regular starter for Leipzig this season, he has scored 7 times in 23 appearances.
It is up for debate whether Sesko is ready to lead the line for a team like Arsenal, who are challenging for trophies, but his availability for such a reasonable price does make him a very attractive target.
Arsenal will have competition for the forward
The Gunners are not the only Premier League side who have been keeping tabs on Sesko’s progress over the last couple of years. Chelsea and Manchester United are also known to be keen admirers.
With it now being public knowledge that the striker has a release clause, it may trigger a scramble for his signature this summer.
