Arsenal transfer target Alexander Isak may not sign a new contract with Newcastle after negotiations stalled, according to talkSPORT.
The radio station claims tha the Gunners hold an interest in the Swedish international and could make a move for him at the end of the season.
Fans on X are divided on whether signing Isak would be a good idea. Some believe he would be the perfect solution to the club’s striker problems, while others don’t believe he should be the priority target:

Newcastle won’t let Isak leave without a fight
It should be noted that the forward has a contract that runs until 2028 so the Magpies are under no pressure to offload him.
Isak is reportedly holding out for a salary increase and a release clause, which his club don’t want to include in any new deal. That is understandable, considering Arsenal (and other interested teams like Chelsea) may look to take advantage of it.
Arsenal could consider alternatives
TalkSPORT suggest that Mikel Arteta’s side are also still keeping tabs on RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko. They made a concerted effort to buy the Slovenian international back in June, only for the player to sign a new contract instead.
However, there is a good chance that a move for the striker could be revived next summer, if a deal for Isak is deemed too expensive.
