‘Please No. We Are A Big Club’ ‘We Don’t Want Him’ Fans Unhappy Amid Reports That Arsenal Are Targeting Free Agent

Arsenal, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are the three teams leading the race to sign Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer, according to the Gazzetta Dello Sport.

The 29-year-old left Juventus at the start of last month and he is looking for a new club ahead of the new season.

Although Rabiot does have a great deal of experience, having been capped 48 times by France, the majority of supporters on X don’t believe he would be a good addition to Mikel Arteta’s squad:

Rabiot’s mother and agent has confirmed talks with several clubs

Speaking to Gazzetta, Rabiot’s mother Veronique said she had held discussions with several different teams, although she refused to name who she has been speaking to:

“It’s true, I’m talking to some clubs. And I’m the only contact. In fact, I am talking to certain clubs, but then some media attribute to me contacts with other teams that I do not speak to. So I suppose that other people speak for me. But since the beginning of Adrien’s career I have been the only interlocutor with the clubs, and if a club has any interest they must speak directly to me”.

Two Premier League clubs could rival Arsenal

In addition to the three sides already mentioned, Gazzetta report that Rabiot is also attracting interest from Liverpool and Manchester United. However, they did downplay the chances of the midfielder moving to the latter team due to a lack of Champions League football.

From the sounds of things, it doesn’t look like the France international is short of suitors, but there is still a great deal of uncertainty over where he will end up.
