Arsenal hold an interest in Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.
The journalist claims that the Gunners are by no means favourites to sign the Nigerian international, with the player having already agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain, but they are “monitoring the situation”.
Supporters on X are split on whether Lookman would be a good addition to the squad, with some backing him to be a success at the Emirates while others are not so sure:

Lookman is in demand
Reports in the Italian media have also claimed that Liverpool are keen on the 26-year-old, but it does look like PSG will be the biggest threat to Arsenal.
Atalanta won’t make things easy for potential suitors, though, as the Serie A side are believed to have slapped a price tag of around €65m (£55m) on the player.
Can Arsenal afford to sign him?
Mikel Arteta’s side are thought to be right up against their limit in terms of breaching the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules so they may need to get creative.
If they do receive £30m to £35m from the sale of Eddie Nketiah, that would aid their cause, but they could lower Lookman’s fee by including a player in the deal. It has been suggested that Jakub Kiwior may be used as a makeweight.
