Arsenal are considering whether to make a shock move for West Ham right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to reports.
TEAMtalk claims the defender is one of several options being explored as the Gunners seek a replacement for Ben White.
Some supporters on X believe that Wan-Bissaka would be a decent backup for Jurrien Timber, but others are not so convinced by the former Manchester United player’s ability:

West Ham have set their asking price
It has been confirmed by The Athletic that the Hammers would offload the Congolese international for £25m this summer.
That is £10m more than the £15m they paid for Wan-Bissaka in the summer of 2024, so you do feel that his asking price could be negotiated down pretty significantly, especially as his club still need to sell to balance the books.

Arsenal have multiple right-back targets
Wan-Bissaka is by no means the only player that manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta are weighing up moves for as they look to reinforce the right-hand side of defence.
The likes of Aston Villa’s Ezri Konsa, Newcastle’s Tino Livramento and Sporting Lisbon’s Ivan Fresneda are also believed to be on the London club’s radar.
A lot will depend on the transfer budget and how much the Premier League champions are prepared to spend on a player who may not be a regular starter.
Of course, with Timber’s recent injury problems, it would be taking a calculated gamble if Arteta and Berta do opt for a budget option, which is the category Wan-Bissaka would fit into. It is a situation to keep a close eye on over the coming days and weeks.
