Dinamo Zagreb will sell Arsenal target Josip Sutalo for only £18m, according to reports in the English media.

The Croatian, who has been capped six times by his country at senior level, has been scouted by the Gunners in recent months and he could well be a cheaper alternative to Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi.

The England international is also being tracked by Mikel Arteta’s side, but the Eagles are expected to hold out for a sizeable fee, with Chelsea having a substantial sell-on clause.

There is likely to be some competition for Sutalo’s signature, though, which could push up the price. The 23-year-old has been linked with Tottenham and Manchester United as well.

However, his rather low valuation means the Gunners won’t need to break the bank, allowing them to use most of their transfer funds in other areas of the pitch. The club are said to be priorititising a move for West Ham’s Declan Rice and the midfielder could cost as much as £100m.
