Arsenal will look to offload up to seven first-team players this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The Gunners are looking to free up funds for their transfer budget whilst also reducing the payroll which has spiralled out of control in recent years.

With Aaron Ramsey already on his way to Juventus, the Welshman could be followed by the likes of Shkodran Mustafi and Carl Jenkinson who are deemed surplus to requirements.

Players such as Mesut Ozil (who is on £350,000 a week) and Henrikh Mkhitaryan could be sacrificed to get the wage bill down to a more manageable level.

Danny Welbeck is also not expected to be given a new contract for the same reason, and will likely leave when his current deal expires at the end of June.

Squad player Mohamed Elneny, as well as loanees David Ospina and Calum Chambers will also be offloaded in the summer if buyers can be found.
