Arsenal to race Manchester United for Croatian World Cup star

Arsenal are ready to race Manchester United and Tottenham to the signature of Croatian World Cup star Ante Rebic.

The Eintracht Frankfurt winger has impressed with his performances in Russia, including last night as Croatia knocked out England in the semi-finals.

He also impressed for his country as they beat Argentina 3-0 in the competitions group stages, scoring the opening goal.

And German news outlet Bild now report a host of Premier League clubs want to bring the 24-year-old to England, including both Manchester United and Arsenal.

The report claims that Bayern Munich are also keen on his services, but his club are standing firm and will not accept anything less than £45 million for their prized asset.

Napoli are also understood to be interested in the Bundesliga star.

Rebic only joined Frankfurt permanently this summer after having spent two seasons on-loan with the German club, and was the club’s star player last term, scoring nine goals in all competitions to help Frankfurt to an eight placed finish and place in the Europa League.
