Arsenal To Postpone Negotiations For Alen Halilovic

Arsenal have been repeatedly linked to 17 year old Alen Halilovic who is considered one of the most talented young players currently performing in European football. The Croatian is not keen on moving to London just yet with World Cup prospects looking a lot more promising from where he is now.

According to the Express, Halilovic is determined to stay with Dinamo at least until the end of the season. His firm decision is influenced by two of his former teammates who failed to acclimatise after moving to bigger clubs like Roma and Inter.

The young midfielder has already made three appearances for Croatia’s national team and has high hopes he will get picked to represent his country in Brazil. Despite being only 17, he is considered the best player the Croatian Championship currently has to offer.

Arsenal will have a hard time signing the youngster. His performances are getting better with each month which means more teams will try securing his signature. It appears that Tottenham have already shown interest in Halilovic and will try competing with the Gunners probably after the World Cup is finished.

Wenger has an advantage though when it comes to players as young as Halilovic. The Frenchman is well known for being one of the managers who are always keen on giving chances to players no matter how young. With that in mind, the 17 year old could definitely consider a transfer in the near future. He will surely stay in Croatia until the end of the season but there is no telling what is going to happen during the summer.
