Arsenal To Only Add Elneny To 2015-2016 Lot?

Arsenal is sticking to the one man transfer rule apparently as Wenger’s only move of the winter is that of the acquisition of Elneny. Even though Arsenal were linked to several important players, none of those will get to perform for the Gunners this season. According to the Guardian, there are some moves that can go down by the end of January, moves that will take effect starting with the end of the 2015-2016 season. Not sure if that`s good or bad news. On the upside all the Gunners should literally be up and running by the middle of February in which case, only bringing Elneny is not that bad and it was nice to see pictures of Danny Welbeck finally returning to training this week.

Getting back to the transfer rumors, it appears that two deals are on the verge of being completed by Sunday while the third negotiation process is still underway. Even though the first two deals involve two very promising players – Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze, it`s the third transfer that is more intriguing. Dynamo Kiev’s Andriy Yarmolenko is rumored to have reached a verbal agreement with the Gunners. The thing is that, out of all the names speculated when it comes to Arsenal’s transfers, this one looks like the most likely to end up on Wenger’s first team. The 26-year-old who is also targeted by Everton, is versatile and could be Arsenal’s new right winger. After Sanchez started feeling great in his natural position (left winger) where he was not played in Barcelona (he was the Catalan’s right winger) and with Walcott insisting on the fact that he wants to compete with Giroud, that leaves Campbell and Oxlade-Chamberlain to fill in the right section of the attack. The Ox is more of a central midfielder (actually he played so many roles it`s hard to pinpoint where he`s at his best) and Campbell is good but probably not as good as Yarmolenko. Of course, that`s just an assumption given the fact that the Ukraine international has never performed on English soil for an entire season. On paper, he looks better though. Apparently Wenger is negotiating his transfer which will not be completed earlier than June. Dynamo Kiev need to wait for the season to end as they are tied for first place which leads directly to the Champions League.
