Arsenal To Fight It Out With Three Premier League Rivals For Croatian International

Arsenal are one of four Premier League teams tracking Croatia goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic, according to reports in Italy.

The 28-year-old currently plays for Gent in the Belgian First Division A but has come to prominence in recent months for his performances at international level during the UEFA Nations League.

In addition to the Gunners, Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Watford are also said to be tracking Kalinic, although at this stage it is not known how serious the interest is from any of the four clubs.

Arsenal currently have two top-class keepers in Bernd Leno and Petr Cech, although the latter’s contract is expiring in the summer.

Scouts from the London club may be looking at Kalinic if Cech does decide to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.

For Gent this campaign, the Croatian international has started 13 matches in all competitions but he has kept just one clean sheet and conceded 20 goals.
