Arsenal prepare for their biggest game of the season so far as they face bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the latest edition of the North London Derby.
The Gunners have had a decent start to the season with two wins and a draw in their opening three games leaving them just two points behind Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the table.
They face a Spurs side who have just four points from their opening three, Ange Postecoglu hopes his side can improve this weekend.
The North London Derby is the first of two tough games for Mikel Arteta’s side who face Manchester City next weekend. Furthermore, the Gunners have injury problems with Martin Odegaard, Mikel Merino and Gabriel Jesus all unlikely to play.
Plus midfielder Declan Rice won’t be available due to his red card in their last game against Brighton before the international break.
Arsenal backed as narrow favourites against rivals
The Gunners have a better side on paper, but since they are missing both Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice, the odds reflect that it could be a very close game.
According to Oddschecker, Arsenal are backed to win at 27/20 giving them a 43% chance of winning the game with a Spurs win at 43/20 (32%) and a draw at 11/4.
Seeing as the game is at Spurs’ stadium and the absentees for Mikel Arteta’s side, we have predicted a 2-2 draw in what should be an entertaining and feisty affair on Sunday afternoon.
Where to watch the North London Derby
