Arsenal Targets Five Huge Signings As Kroenke Makes Massive Transfer War Chest Available

Arsenal are poised to go on a massive spending spree after owner Stan Kroenke shocked fans by announcing a £400m transfer kitty.

The American has been notoriously reluctant to open his wallet, with many news outlets having tipped the Gunners for a quiet summer.

However, it now appears Unai Emery will be given carte blanche to reshape his squad at the end of the season, with five players being tipped to make the switch to the Emirates.

Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale is said to be the first big name to arrive, despite his former Tottenham connections. The Welshman has become unsettled at the Bernabeu and is reportedly enthusiastic about a return to England.

Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi and Barcelona’s Ivan Rakitic are all transfers said to be in the pipeline.

The fifth and final signing has been shrouded in mystery, but we can exclusively reveal that none other than Barcelona’s Lionel Messi could make the move to London.

The Argentine is apparently tired of firing in the goals in La Liga and wants to try his hand in the Premier League. The Catalan side are also said to be willing to let him go for a cut-price deal as he has done so much for the club.

As you may have gathered this is an April Fool’s story. Have a good day and don’t believe everything you read on the internet!
