Arsenal are among the teams who have started scouting Red Bull Salzburg striker Hwang Hee-chan following his superb start to the season, according to the Daily Mail.
The South Korean international has been in scintillating form, having already scored seven goals and contributed ten assists in just eleven appearances so far this campaign.
Hwang’s standout performance was against Liverpool last month when he got the better of Virgil van Dijk to score Salzburg’s first goal as they came from 3-0 down to draw level at 3-3.
Salzburg went on to lose 4-3 but the 23-year-old’s performance got the attention of the Gunners as well as Crystal Palace who are now said to be keeping tabs on the forward.
Hwang has started off the season impressively but it must be said that he struggled during a loan spell in the German second division last campaign. He scored just two goals in 20 games for Hamburg, although he did suffer from a number of injury problems.
