Arsenal Targeting 21M Deal For South American Fullback With 11 Goal Contributions This Season

Arsenal are interested in signing Udinese right-back Nahuel Molina, according to reports in the Italian media.

The 24-year-old has been in excellent form this season, having scored seven goals and provided four assists in 32 appearances.

With the Gunners believed to be keen on strengthening their options at fullback, Molina would seem like a good choice, considering he would be a lot more attack-minded than Takehiro Tomiyasu.

The defender won’t be that expensive either, with it being claimed that Udinese may accept a bid in the region of €25m (£21m) to €30m (£25m).

Arsenal also have another ace up their sleeve, with Pablo Mari currently on loan at Udinese. They could offer up the Spanish centre-back in a part-exchange deal for Molina, reducing his price even further.

Considering he has 15 caps for Argentina at senior level, the right-back does certainly seem like a player well worth going after. We shall see if the Gunners make their move in the coming weeks.
