Arsenal Target Young PSG Forward

The France youth international, Jean-Cristophe Bahebeck was the top scorer in the recently concluded 2014 Toulon Tournament which Brazil won after defeating France 5-2 in the final. Baheback scored twice in the final to finish as the tournament’s top scorer with 4 goals.

Arsenal scouts were in attendance to watch Baheback in action and they have been impressed with his performances, according to the Daily Mail. With Arsenal looking to add attacking reinforcements for next season, Arsene Wenger is considering submitting a bid for the 21-year-old’s services.

The Ligue 1 champions will not hesitate to stand in his way if he decides to leave. PSG are even ready to sell him for free as long as they get 50 per cent of any sell-on transfer fee.

Bahebeck’s representative said, “When you consider the prices being asked for English players of similar level it’s a very good deal. We have a lot of interest from English clubs.”
