Arsenal Target Move For £8.8m Rated Moroccan International Forward

Arsenal have made an approach for Leganes forward Youssef En-Nesyri, according to Assahifa Al Ousbouia.

The Moroccan news outlet says the Gunners are one of a number of teams keen on signing the 22-year-old this summer.

Real Betis have reportedly offered €10m (£8.8m) for En-Nesyri, but German clubs Borussia Dortmund and Schalke are also said to be interested.

The Moroccan international was a regular for Leganes last season, scoring 11 goals in all competitions as well as providing two assists in 34 appearances.

En-Nesyri is likely an option for the Gunners as they consider replacements for Danny Welbeck. The club have confirmed that the England international will be leaving at the end of this month when his contract expires.

As well as En-Nesyri, Arsenal have also been linked with the likes of Lorient wide man Alexis Claude-Maurice and Racing Genk’s Leandro Trossard as possible alternatives to strengthen their forward line ahead of next season.
