Arsenal Target Looking To Snub Summer Move

According to the Mirror, Southampton ace and Arsenal target Morgan Schneiderlin is ready to say no to a move to one of the biggest clubs in the Barclays Premier League, but needs the backing of his club board.

Undoubtedly, a club which all the other bigger clubs will have an eye on at the end of the season will be Southampton. The Saints have once again outperformed in the league, proving the talent of their squad. Players like Adam Lallana, Jay Rodriguez and Ricky Lambert have already been selected for England fixtures in the past few months.

Schneiderlin began his career with French club Strasbourg, and was deployed in the youth team of the club. However, soon after, he was spotted by the Saints, who bought him in 2008. Ever since, the Frenchman has played 199 league matches for the club, scoring 10 goals in the process.

Arsenal are one of the interested parties involved in this move, but the transfer will only conclude if it significantly benefits Southampton as a club according to the powers that be on the South coast.
