Arsenal target leaves cryptic Instagram post

Arsenal target Yacine Adli has responded to rumours about a potential move to the Gunners by uploading a picture captioned, ‘you have no idea what you’re on about’ onto his Instagram story.

Last week, RMC Sport broke the news that the 17-year-old had agreed a three-year deal with Arsenal, meaning the midfielder would follow Unai Emery from PSG to the Emirates.

It served as some exciting news for Gunners’ fans, as Adli is rated as one of the finest prospects in football. He was given his senior debut by Emery at PSG, who clearly believes in the midfielder’s ability enough to want him to join him in North London.

But on Sunday evening, RMC Sport again reported that the 17-year-old was in London to finalise a deal with the Gunners, but had made a U-turn regarding the move.

However, in a cryptic Instagram post, Adli posted a black screen with the caption reading: ‘You have no idea what you’re on about.’ He also included a location tag, which stated he was in France – not England.

So what exactly does Adli mean? That a transfer to Arsenal is all hearsay, or that a U-turn on the move is false?

If the deal was to go through, Arsenal would be due to pay just €255,000 (£223,000) in compensation to PSG.
