GK – David Raya
The Spaniard had a difficult start to life at the Emirates but he began to settle into the job as the club’s no.1 as the season went on.
Undoubtedly, Raya’s best moment was his performance in the shootout against Porto in the last 16 of the Champions League.
RB – Ben White
The defender should be well rested heading into the new campaign, having not played at the European Championships with England.
White will have a job on his hands keeping Jurrien Timber out of the team, though, but Arteta will like the number of options he has at fullback this season (with Takehiro Tomiyasu also in the squad).
