Arsenal Star House Hunting As He Looks To Seal January Move Away From Club

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka is looking for a home in Italy ahead of a prospective move to AC Milan, according to RSI Sport. The Swiss website claims that despite saying he intends to fight for his place at the Emirates, the 27-year-old has already made up his mind on leaving in the January transfer window.

It is believed that the Rossoneri’s managing director Ivan Gazidis could prove important in the move going ahead. The former Gunners chief executive knows Xhaka and is likely to take a lead role in negotiations over a possible transfer.

Xhaka has not played since being stripped of the captaincy by Arsenal manager Unai Emery, and despite training with the first team, he asked not to be selected for the 2-0 defeat to Leicester at the weekend.

It will be interesting to see whether he is included in the squad when the Gunners face Southampton after the international break.
