After eight games into the Premier League season, Arne Slot’s Liverpool remain top of the league whilst Arsenal suffers a blow after losing to Bournemouth. 

The Gunners lost 2-0 at the Vitality Stadium as goals from Justin Kluivert and Ryan Christie handed Mikel Arteta’s side their first loss of the season.

Elsewhere, Liverpool beat title rivals Chelsea 2-1 at Anfield and Tottenham Hotspur recorded an impressive 4-1 win over West Ham United. Manchester United earned their first win in five games and Manchester City scored a late winner against Wolves to keep pace with Liverpool.
