Arsenal will look to offer £20m for Manchester United defender Eric Bailly, according to the Sun.

The Ivorian has been heavily linked with the Gunners over the past year, with the player having also been on Tottenham and Sevilla’s radar.

Bailly has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford, and he last played in the 3-1 win against Paris Saint-Germain back in March.

The 25-year-old has been out injured since the last international break after suffering a nasty head injury while playing for Ivory Coast, but he has not been a regular under either Jose Mourinho or Ole Gunnar Solskjaer when he has been fit.

United signed Bailly for £30m from Villarreal in 2016 and would be keen to recoup as much as possible as they look to reshape their own defence this summer.

Both the Gunners and United have been leaking goals this campaign, with both teams having conceded more than 1.3 goals per game in the Premier League.
