Arsenal will offer Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney £70,000 a week in order to persuade the defender into moving to the Emirates, according to the Sun.

The Gunners will look to hand the 22-year-old a lucrative five-year deal if they can agree a fee with the Hoops.

The Scottish Champions have already rejected a £15m bid from Arsenal, but it is believed that the London club will make a second offer very soon.

Celtic are keen to keep hold of Tierney but it is said that they may sell up if the Gunners put £25m on the table.

The fullback is a key target for manager Unai Emery, who is also a fan of the Scottish international’s flexibility. The defender can play at centre-half as well and could be used in a three-man backline.

Arsenal may have to fend off interest in Tierney from Napoli with the Italian club also keen on the player.
