Arsenal seem to have made a long list of possible transfers for the summer. The latest name to make that list is Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin. The 24 year old Frenchman who reached the 200 game milestone for his current team might be looking for a new challenge. According to Metro, Arsenal seem set to offer the midfielder a convincing deal meant to lure him to Emirates. He would make a great addition to the team whose thin squad may well have cost Wenger the Premier League title.

Schneiderlin has currently reaching the peak of his career. He even made the standby list for France’s national team. He would be the perfect replacement for Arteta despite being much younger. Unfortunately for Arsenal, they are not the only ones interested in the 24 year olds’ signature. Napoli also seem keen on placing a bid for one of the most consistent players in the Premier League. The Italian side have already taken Higuain from Wenger and they might just do it again considering what happened last year.

Having claimed the FA Cup with their scinitilating 3-2 win over Hull City, Wenger’s side may look a lot more attractive to players like the Frenchman who is looking to move to a bigger team chasing bigger honours.
