Arsenal Set To Battle Italian Giants For Belgian Wide Man

Arsenal are looking to sign Dalian Yifang winger Yannick Carrasco during the January transfer window, according to reports in Spain.

Gunners boss Unai Emery is looking for a quick and incisive wide man, who has the qualities to cope with the rigours of the Premier League,  and it seems that a move for the former Atletico Madrid player could be on the cards.

The Belgian international left Spain for the Chinese Super League last February when Arsenal were also believed to be interested in the player, but despite performing well in China, he is said to be keen to return to Europe.

Carrasco is only 25 years of age, and despite the riches of playing in the Far East, the standard of football is not the same as the top European Leagues.

However, the Gunners won’t be alone in pursuing the Belgian World Cup star. Serie A champions Juventus are also reportedly tracking the wide player.
