Arsenal Sending Scouts To Watch 10M Rated Teenage Prodigy As They Join Eight Team Transfer Battle

Arsenal are keeping tabs on PAOK Salonika attacking midfielder Giannis Konstantelias, according to reports in the English media.

The Gunners are set to send scouts to watch the teenager in action, with the Greek Under 21 international also attracting the attention of a number of other teams.

Chelsea, Manchester City, Crystal Palace, Wolves, Leeds, PSV Eindhoven and Valencia are tracking Konstantelias as well, so Mikel Arteta’s side are likely to face stiff competition if they do decide to make a formal bid for the player.

PAOK are not expected to let the 19-year-old leave on the cheap either. Despite making just 28 senior appearances, the Greek club have reportedly set a £10m asking price.

Considering the fact that so many clubs are pursuing Konstantelias, they may be able to start a bidding war that could lead to a team matching their valuation. At this stage, it seems Arsenal are simply keeping a watchful eye but we shall see if that changes.
