Arsenal are scouting Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu over the international break, according to Star (via the Sun). The Turkish publication claims the Gunners could make their move for the 23-year-old in the January transfer window.
The centre-half played in Turkey’s 0-0 draw against Iceland last night, and he will likely be in action once again on Sunday when his team face Andorra in their final Euro 2020 qualifier.
Representatives from Arsenal are likely to be present at both games, with the Star reporting that the London club will also run the rule over Soyuncu’s international teammate and centre-back partner Merih Demiral.
The 21-year-old has also been linked with the Gunners in recent days after it emerged that the defender may consider leaving Juventus in the January transfer window.
Demiral only joined the Serie A champions in the summer from Sassuolo but he has managed just one appearance this season under manager Maurizio Sarri.
