Arsenal are scouting Slavia Prague striker Abdallah Sima, according to Calciomercato.com. The Italian website, who describe him as the “New Henry”, report that Juventus and many other European clubs are keeping tabs on the 19-year-old.
The Senegalese forward has been in excellent form this season, having scored 13 goals in 18 appearances but, despite the interest being shown in the player, Slavia Prague are said to be determined to keep hold of him.
Sima only joined the club in August for a small fee but the Czech side are now insisting that he would only be sold for €50m (£45m) in the January transfer window. Some of that may be postering but it appears likely that they won’t accept anything below the €21m they received from West Ham for Tomas Soucek last summer.
The teenager has also been mentioned as a possible target for the Hammers, and that good relationship could help facilitate another transfer, so the Gunners may have to move fast if they want to ensure he moves to the Emirates instead.
