Arsenal and Lyon have both made bids of £12m for Club Brugge forward Emmanuel Dennis, according to reports in Turkey.
Fenerbahce were also said to be interested in the 21-year-old, but they have been priced out of a move for the striker.
Dennis can play out wide, as well as up front, and his flexibility would likely make him a like-for-like replacement for Danny Welbeck.
Last season, the Nigerian made 32 appearances in all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing three assists.
In the closing stages of the campaign, Dennis was utilised on the right wing, but he had started the season mostly playing from the left-hand side.
The Nigerian Under 23 international has spent the last two years in Belgium. Before that, he had a spell with Zorya Luhansk in Ukraine.
Although Dennis has yet to play in one of Europe’s big leagues, he did play in the Champions League group stages last season, playing against both Borussia Dortmund and Monaco.
