Arsenal Revive Pursuit Of Serie A Poacher As Report Names The 2 PL Clubs ‘Interested’ In £69M Transfer

Arsenal and Newcastle are the two Premier League teams “interested” in signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to Tuttomercatoweb.com.

The Italian website claims the Gunners have reignited their pursuit of the Serbian international, who turned them down to join Juve sixteen months ago.

Vlahovic has struggled during his first full season with the Bianconeri and the Serie A side are already willing to let him go, with the club having lined up Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund as his replacement.

It is questionable whether Arsenal are seriously considering making an offer for Vlahovic. Trusted journalist David Ornstein has insisted that signing a new number nine is not a priority for manager Mikel Arteta. There is a possibility that the Juventus forward’s sudden availability may have piqued the club’s interest but he would still be a costly outlay.

How much would Vlahovic cost and are other teams interested?

The 23-year-old is expected to cost €80m (£69m), which is very close to Arsenal’s transfer record.

Reports in the UK also suggest that both Chelsea and Manchester United are keen on signing Vlahovic so securing the player’s services won’t be easy either.
